Harbin Engineering has been providing solid waste consulting services to the Lamar County Regional Solid Waste Authority (Authority) since 2006, acting as the designer and engineer of the Cedar Grove Landfill, preparing the construction plans and specifications, and observing the construction activities. Under Harbin Engineering, the completion of landfill cells 3, 4, 5, 6A, 6B, 7A, and 7B have occurred. Most recently, construction plans for cell 9 of the Cedar Grove Landfill were completed allowing construction to begin, and the construction plans for cell 10 of the Cedar Grove Landfill are under development. With each additional cell, Harbin Engineering takes care of minor permit modifications, updates to the design and operation plans, and the preparation of storm water pollution prevention plans and erosion, sedimentation and pollution control plans.
The projects completed for the Lamar County Regional Solid Waste Management Authority demonstrate our knowledge, understanding and expertise of permitting, deisgn, and constrcution of solid waste landfill facilities.
